The Steakhouse at Cedar Mountain Lodge is open to the public Thursday through Saturday from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. by reservation only. There will be special events during the week, such as a one price, five-course date night and entertainers, so check our calendar often.

The menu focuses on great Texas cuisine and provides an array of meats, fine wines, sensational salads, satisfying sides and decadent desserts. Enjoy your gourmet meal accompanied by the scenic views of north central Texas, roaming wildlife and the luxury of the Lodge. Top off your night at our rustic bar. Cocktails are served on the patio to be enjoyed in our cedar rocking chairs among the ambience of fireflies, tall tales and an enchanting firepit.

We invite you to extend your stay with us after dinner and drinks by indulging in our Bed & Breakfast. Furthermore, we have two health rooms that dining and lodging guests may reserve for massages, which must be scheduled in advance.

Weekends are the perfect time to treat yourself to a gourmet meal prepared by our chef, Kyle Glasscock. We are open to the public on Thursday through Saturday 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. and feature a casual-elegant environment. Our delicious menu will refine the way you think of fine Texas dining. We also sell gift certificates so you can share your Cedar Mountain Lodge experience with others.
Our rustic bar is open from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m., Thursday through Saturday. Overnight guests and Steakhouse diners are welcome to enjoy our wines, beers, cocktails and specials before, after or during dinner. Our porch has several relaxing cedar rocking chairs, and our patio has a fire pit sure to warm you up on brisk winter nights.
If you have a large group or wish to book a private seating area, let us know. We are able to accommodate large groups in the private enclave of our main dining room as long as we have advance notice. The private enclave has picture windows that often reveal whitetails roaming the property. To host a special event outside of the weekend, please give us a call and visit our “events” page.
Cedar Mountain Lodge caters every onsite event. You are able to personalize your menu and serving style to fit your specific needs. From buffets to five-course meals, all attendees will enjoy the delicious food you select with our chef, Kyle Glasscock. We are able to seat 165 guests in our large indoor ballroom and up to 300 guests outdoors.
Executive Chef Kyle Glasscock leads The Steakhouse kitchen with an extensive culinary background. As a 2002 charter member of the Central Market in Dallas, Kyle moved from Sous Chef to Executive Chef in a matter of years. Prior to Central Market, he worked at the Harvey Hotel Chain, Douglas Bakery and a hamburger joint in Terrell; Kyle graduated from El Centro’s Chef Apprentice program in 1995. Today he has two girls, Marti and Isabel, with his wife of 13 years, Anne.
